Amber Benson is an American actress, director, and producer. She is best known for her character Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has also directed produced and starred in her own movies Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest of children from Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Her birthplace was Birmingham in Alabama, on 8 January 1977.
