Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th, 1967) was an American performer and actress. She began her acting career when she was in her teens. She is most known for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders and also in the role of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was born within Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble, who worked as a payroll clerk, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. Her siblings include three. She took drama classes at Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College College, plus The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor who was known as Uta. Kari started acting when she was still a teenager. Kari got her debut big break in the form of MTV Remote Control in 1987.
