Kate Capshaw

Her name is known best for her role as Kate Capshaw, an American actress who retired. Her role as Willie Scott (an American nightclub singer and performer) in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), that was directed by her future husband Steven Spielberg, is her most famous role. She has appeared in Dreamscape (1984), Power(1986), SpaceCamp(1986), Black Rain (1989), Love Affair (94), Just Cause (1995) and The Love Letter (1999). Capshaw's portraiture work is displayed in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Capshaw was a daughter of Beverley Sue (nee Simon), who is a beauty and travel agent and Edwin Leon Nail (an airline employee of the airline). When she was of five she moved to St. Louis and graduated from Hazelwood Senior High School. Capshaw graduated from the University of Missouri in education. She was also a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She was a special education instructor at Southern Boone High School Ashland, Missouri and Rock Bridge High School Columbia, Missouri.
